Red Balloon Cambridge takes part in 2011 Chariots of Fire run

For this first time this year’s Red Balloon Cambridge Chariots of Fire team comprised four members of staff and a former student. The team successfully completed the 1.7 mile race through Cambridge city centre.   Although not one of the fastest teams to complete the relay the Red Balloon Team enjoyed the challenge. In previous years the Chariots of Fire race has raised funds for Red Balloon-Cambridge, this year staff at the Centre felt very strongly that they wished to participate to raise funds for Rosie Hospital.

Denise Fröhlich, one of the teachers at Red Balloon-Cambridge said;  “Participating in the 2011 Chariots of Fire race was an amazing experience.  It was a great opportunity for team building and helping another well respected charity in our community.”
