Marathon Man Luke Little runs 78.6 miles in 3 days for Red Balloon - Cambridge!

Coordinator of Red Balloon - Cambridge Jessica Lechner said of this incredible achievement, "Luke is an inspiration! he ran not just one, but three marathons for us. We are so proud of what he has done for us, in particular for our students."

Luke Little spoke to Red Balloon - Cambridge afterwards about his marathon exploits:

"I did it! 78.6 miles in 3 days! I just wanted to say a huge thankyou for all of the support you have given me and the messages of support I have received; it really is appreciated and really helped me get to the end on Sunday.

I was able to complete the 3 marathons in a total time of 15 hours and 5 minutes and came 12th overall out of over 200 competitors.

Although the weather conditions were at times very wet making conditions pretty treacherous, I had a fantastic weekend and really enjoyed my run. It was both mentally and physically very tough but after a few massages after each run I was able to get round and be able to move the next day!"

Already surpassing expectations, Luke's final fundraising total will be published very soon along with some photographs.
