Red Balloon response to 'research showing bullying link to child suicide rate'

Red Balloon responds to a charity report that 44% of suicides among 10 to 14 year-olds may be bullying-related.

Red Balloon Chief Executive Dr Carrie Herbert says: “Red Balloon is disturbed by these findings. That children and young people feel suicide is their only option is tragic, desperately sad and a terrible indictment of how society continues to fail the vulnerable. This is why we need a Red Balloon Learner Centre in every major town and city in the UK. Government must act now."
