Expressions of interest are invited from individuals with expertise in strategic planning, finance, fundraising, governance, legal issues, marketing, PR & communications or personnel. Anyone with a professional educational background would also be welcome.
Each Red Balloon Learner Centre has a turnover of circa £300,000 and provides one-to-one small group teaching and counselling for children who have been so severely bullied they are out of school and missing an education.

Appointments are for a minimum term of two years. Most Board meetings are held monthly and some Trustees also sit on sub-committees. Training is provided for new Trustees. The position is voluntary although expenses can be paid.
