Red Balloon Of The Air Teacher/Well-Being (Counsellor) Recruitment

‘Red Balloon of the Air’ is an initiative that will deliver an online version of the successful Red Balloon Learner Centre recovery programme for bullied children. We are currently recruiting dynamic teaching staff who can contribute to the development of the programme as well as deliver specialist (as well as cross-curricular) subjects online. Candidates for this post should be within reasonable travelling distance of our Head Office in Cambridge.

Applicants should be educated to degree level and have either a teaching or a counselling qualification as well as online teaching experience. Practical experience of working with vulnerable students would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be required to serve an induction at an established Red Balloon centre for a negotiable period of time.

The main responsibilities will include assisting in the development of the online project as well as producing and delivering individual online learning programmes for each student.These programmes will be in line with Red Balloon teaching practice. Forming positive relationships with staff, students and parents will be essential.

The annual salary range for a Red Balloon of the Air Teacher is from £18,000 to £23,000  pro rata
