Red Balloon - Preston

It is with great regret that the Trustees of Red Balloon – Preston have decided to close the Centre for the time being. It is not that there aren’t children in that locality who need our help – we were approached by a number of families with children missing education as a result of severe bullying. Red Balloon Learner Centres recover these children in a fulltime education programme returning them to mainstream school or on to college or employment.

However the local education authorities were unable to refer children to us, offering them their own part-time programme or “elective” home education.

If you have a child who has been so severely bullied that they cannot go to school, or know of such a child, please contact us at admin@group.rblc.org.uk.

Red Balloon Learner Centres recover these children in a fulltime education programme returning them to mainstream school or on to college or employment.
